What drove your company to look into a PPM solution? What were your motivations, and what were your business needs?
- Teradata is a Business Intelligence (BI) company and the leading provider of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution (according to Gartner).
Substantial part of business are Professional Services aimed to perform BI and EDW projects implementation for our Customers.
We were looking for a PPM/collaboration solution that could support our project activities for distributed teams.
What process did you go through to select a PPM vendor? What were your criteria in selecting a PPM vendor and what importance did Software as a Solution (SaaS) play?
- We were going through detailed PPM market analysis and then used weighted scoring model to select a vendor.
In addition to Daptiv, did you look into other PPM / Business software providers? If so, which ones did you look into and why didn’t you
choose them?
- Of course. To name just a few @Task, TeamCentral, Team Manager v 3.0,
PPM (ProjectArena), Team Space, Project On Demand, Quick Base, OpenAir, Zoho Projects
