What drove your company to look into a solution like Daptiv? What were your motivations, and what were your business needs?

Need for real-time visibility in to multiple development projects. Need for what-if resource planning based on current approved and projected projects. Automatic reporting of project status.

What process did you go through to select a provider? What was your criteria in selecting a PPM / collaborative business software provider?

Read reviews, talked with people in the industry, selected a few, went through product demonstrations, quoted a few and picked one.

In addition to Daptiv, did you look into other providers? If so, which ones did you look into and why didn’t you choose them?

  • Unanet  (not enough features)
  • Serina (too expensive)
  • @Task (Not very flexible)
  • Innotas (Seemed to be always 6 months to a year behind in innovation, Sales guy mentioned Daptiv every other sentence as he apologized for his product. Wanted me to select him has a vendor before giving me his best price….)

Why did you choose Daptiv?

Features, Pretty Interface, Dynamic Application flexibility, Local, People were friendly.

What do you like most about Daptiv (benefits of product, why Daptiv as a company is unique)?

It was actually not an easy or logical process to select Daptiv, it was more a feeling that any of the top providers could provide a system that works, but that you guys were having fun doing it, and would probably be around to support it. Pricing was competitive, without being so inexpensive that it raised alarm bells.
