Services to Make You Successful

We partner with you to ensure we are providing the right level of engagement suitable for your business needs. In some cases, a customer will take the lead with guidance from a Daptiv subject matter expert, and in other cases, Daptiv will manage the implementation while ensuring we transfer knowledge throughout deployment process. Daptiv consultants are always available after implementation to help optimize your solution or provide guidance on how to improve your PPM maturity.

Implementation Services

Our team provides two alternatives for implementation depending on your business needs:

  • A Business-Driven Implementation™ is a cooperative effort between you and our services team, managed by Daptiv. The scope can be tailored to your business requirements and can include a full range of consulting, training and integration services.
  • A Subscribe-to-Live Implementation™ is a customer-driven project with Daptiv services offered that provide guidance and support. Daptiv services are offered with a fixed price and scope.

A Business-Driven Implementation™

Our business-driven implementation follows a collaborative implementation process:


  1. Discover. Through process reviews and stakeholder interviews, our PPM experts discover your business goals and learn how you run your project-driven organization. We can also provide PPM best practice advice and consulting.
  2. Model. We take what we learned during discovery and work together to craft a high-level Daptiv design that enables your processes and meets your goals. We work with your team to iteratively configure Daptiv to meet your needs and conduct a joint conference room pilot before proceeding to deployment.
  3. Deploy. With configuration complete, it’s time to train, migrate data, and go live! During the discover phase the core team receives administrator training and we provide either train-the-trainer or role-based end-user training just prior to go-live.
  4. Optimize. For customers, go-live is only the beginning. In order to foster adoption, we schedule regular check-ups to assess progress and assist with any issues. No PPM organization sits still, so we help craft a roadmap that anticipates your processes and Daptiv evolving in tandem.

The Business Driven Implementation utilizes several repeatable tools to ensure customer success, including:


  • The BDI Design Guide — A PowerPoint “as-built” document compiled during the life of the project that covers all the design decisions, project deliverables and configuration elements.
  • Daptiv Process Map — An end-to-end process map documenting the customer’s PPM processes with color coding and notes to indicate how each process block will be handled in Daptiv.
  • Project Artifact Matrix — Like the process map, this is meant to ensure all bases are covered. We document all artifacts in your project methodology and note if and/or how they will be handled in Daptiv.
  • Requirements Matrix — A two-column matrix that lists business requirements and the Daptiv elements being utilized to meet them.
  • Training Presentation — A set of modularized PowerPoint decks covering all roles and processes handled in Daptiv. This is modified to fit the customer’s specific processes and Daptiv configuration.

A Subscribe-to-Live Implementation™

Subscribe-to-Live is a more limited scope ‘guided’ implementation where a Daptiv consultant works side-by-side with your team to configure the system. It’s suitable for customers who want to assume responsibility for their own implementation and have a dedicated project lead. It includes the following support and services from Daptiv:


  • Configuration — Configure user roles, processes, resources, approvals, project types, templates, and portfolio views to map Daptiv PPM capabilities with your business requirements
  • Reporting — Set up standard dashboards, views, and reports
  • Training — Administrator and user training for team members (including a train the trainer option)
  • Coaching — Additional coaching time post go-live
  • Check-up — Three month assurance check up to help you further align processes and software

Subscribe-to-Live offers several fixed-price, fixed-scope options that differ by the degree of assistance and the depth and scope of functionality sought.


Training Services

The Daptiv Professional Services Team offers regular training for our customers who need assistance educating administrators, project managers, business users and report authors on the Daptiv PPM toolset. If you are introducing PPM to a new group within your organization these training options pro¬vide your users with a solid understanding on features and functionality offered.


Daptiv for Administrators

Recommended For:

  • New administrators adopting Daptiv PPM
  • Existing administrators who want a refresher on Daptiv PPM

This web-based training is offered weekly and delivered in a series of five training sessions of between 60 and 90 minutes.


Daptiv for Project Teams

Recommended For:

  • New users being introduced to Daptiv PPM
  • Existing project managers and team members whose role in Daptiv PPM is changing
  • Teams who need to “get up to speed” on the Daptiv PPM toolset

This web-based training is offered monthly and delivered in a series of four training sessions between 60 and 90 minutes


Advanced Report Builder Training

Recommended For:

  • Business Analysts that will be using Daptiv Work Intelligence as part of their daily job
  • Business Analysts that will be using the Daptiv Advanced Report Builder tool

This training covers an introduction to Daptiv PPM reports, basic reporting features, advanced reporting features, and effective report design.

DAPTIV CONNECT, THE ON-DEMAND INTEGRATION SERVICE FOR DAPTIV PPM

Daptiv Connect offers a library of 150+ pre-built connectors to enable seamless integration between Daptiv and ERP, CRM, financial and other business systems. It doesn’t matter if those systems are on-demand services, like Daptiv, or whether they’re on-premise, installed software or databases. Daptiv also offers a ‘self-service’ capability to build a custom integration.

Configuration Tune-Up

Optimize and tune your Daptiv configuration and processes with a PPM expert.

Business rarely sits still and Daptiv is designed to be changed to match your changing business conditions and processes. The Daptiv Tune-up is a 3 day workshop where our process experts review your current business practices, review your current Daptiv configuration, and work with you to develop recommendations for improving your Daptiv configuration and/or processes. As with our other services, Daptiv utilizes a set of repeatable tools including process maps, requirements matrices, and a comprehensive recommendations presentation deck. With blueprint in hand, many customers execute the recommendations using their core team. Of course, Daptiv Professional Services can assist customers with implementation of the recommendations based on their specific needs.


Premier Subscription Services

The premier subscription services are designed to provide you with the assistance you need to drive user adoption within your organization. This service includes a named Daptiv PPM expert who will meet with you regularly and handle the day-to-day administrative functions. Premier Subscription Services can be tailored and include:

  • Dedicated Support — Assistance with support services & licensing needs
  • Remote Consulting — Administrative services performed for your Daptiv PPM instance
  • Training Programs (web-based remote training) — These monthly training sessions provide a solid foundation for using Daptiv PPM
  • Daptiv PPM Tune-up (or Assessment) — The annual tune-up (or assessment) will provide you with the tools needed to bring your configuration back into shape to meet your current business needs

Report Development

Our expert report developers can create custom reports for your specific business needs. We offer two options for report development:

  • Fixed Price. We can provide a fixed price quote if you have requirements that are well defined. We’ll work with you to specify the requirements and develop the report(s) remotely.
  • Hourly Rate. A block of hours is more suitable for customers that do not have well defined reports and want to work iteratively. The hours can also be used for one on one coaching to develop reports together.
