Welcome to the Greenhouse!
With Daptiv PPM Summer ’08, we’ve created the Greenhouse, a new part of your experience with us as a vendor that makes you part of Daptiv’s innovation and product development processes. The Greenhouse is a new place in the Daptiv Community website http://community.daptiv.com/ where you can submit product ideas, vote or comment on existing ideas and get insight into which ideas have been implemented into our service.
The Greenhouse gives you:
- A direct channel to the Daptiv team
- A voice on the future of our product
- A single place to learn which planted

We use the Greenhouse to:
- Get new ideas from customers
- Get feedback, have a dialog about ideas
- Clearly understand priorities of our customer and partner community

Login:
…to the Daptiv Community and click on the “Greenhouse”.
*Note: for all On-demand users, just use the same credentials you use to log into Daptiv PPM – we made this change so more people can access the Community. All other users, please link to other instructions on the login page.
Plant Ideas:
Have an improvement you’d like to suggest for Daptiv PPM? Click on “Plant”, and follow the menu to categorize, name, and clearly describe your idea. Oh – you’ll want to “Search existing ideas” first to make sure the idea hasn’t already been submitted and you merely need to vote for it.
Cultivate Ideas:
Vote on the idea(s) you feel will most help you in your work. You can browse the ideas already submitted using the Recent Ideas, Popular Ideas, In Progress and Implemented tabs. The most popular ideas will get the most consideration in Daptiv’s development process.
Look Forward to the Harvest:
Once ideas are in the Development process at Daptiv, we’ll move them to the “In Progress” tab. In fact, Daptiv has already released 5 features (In Spring ’08) that came from the Greenhouse Beta. As ideas move from “In Progress” to ready to release, we’ll move them to the Implemented tab for you to see.
We’re excited to launch the Greenhouse. Of course, not every idea will get executed, and Daptiv will continue to try to anticipate needs you’re not even thinking about yet.

A New Security Option: IP Filtering
Now, Daptiv PPM administrators can define ranges of IP address that can log into the system. For example, you can enable IP address filtering that specifies only addresses on your corporate network, blocking access to anyone outside the network. Use this feature as you see fit to keep your enterprise secure.
Quality Updates
Between major releases of Daptiv PPM, we make Quality Updates several times per year. Starting after Summer ’08, Daptiv will being posting Quality Update documentation to the Solutions Library in the Daptiv Community, as well as to the “What’s New” page inside Daptiv PPM, so you can stay on top of the latest changes and improvements.
