eProject Positioned in “Visionaries” Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

SEATTLE, WA — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 28, 2007 — eProject, the leader in on-demand collaborative project portfolio management, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned eProject in the visionaries quadrant of the 2007 Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management Applications.¹ PPM6 is a collaborative project management platform that provides demand management, project and portfolio management, resource planning and time management, all delivered in an integrated environment. PPM6 includes a full set of team collaboration features linked to project execution, including document management and storage, version control, alerting, discussions and polling. Since its release last year, PPM6 has earned accolades for its ease-of-use, flexibility and power.

"We believe being classified as visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT PPM validates the strength of our offering and the choice our customers made in turning to us for a quick-to-deploy project management solution. We will continue to provide a compelling mix of easy-to-use software and management level visibility using our unique on-demand model," said Christian Smith, VP of sales and marketing at eProject.

Since its introduction in June of 2006, PPM6 has been lauded by the technology press and was a finalist in this year’s Enterprise Collaboration category of the eWEEK Excellence Awards (please see press release entitled "eProject Named as a Finalist in eWEEK's 7th Annual Excellence Awards Program"). eProject introduced its latest version of PPM6 – the Summer Edition ’07 – at the Gartner PPM Summit in Boston last week. The Summer Edition features tight desktop integration with everyday business applications and processes, including a new mashup with Microsoft Office desktop tools like Outlook for task updating and appointment scheduling and eProject DeskDocs, which combine desktop convenience and easy access to documents in the Web-based document repository.

At the Gartner PPM Summit, eProject also delivered a case study with C&S Wholesale Grocers, a $20 billion wholesale customer, highlighting C&S’s eight-week implementation cycle, and was nominated by Summit attendees for Gartner’s "Project & Portfolio Management Innovation™ Award" in the most flexible/configurable category.

The "Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management Applications, 2007" report evaluates each vendor according to its completeness of vision and ability to execute.
