Seattle, WA — July 23, 2009 — Daptiv, the on-demand leader in collaborative business software, today announced that Kevin Hickey has joined its board of directors as chairman. With the resignation of former CEO Jeff Pancottine, Hickey is leading the search for a CEO who will manage Daptiv through its next stage of growth, capitalizing on the company’s assets and market momentum.

Hickey most recently served as CEO of NetPro, prior to its acquisition by Quest Software, and will apply his significant experience as a software executive to the selection of a new CEO. Before NetPro, Hickey was the president and CEO of Apriva, Inc. and Homebid.com and led both companies to acquisition. In addition, Mr. Hickey spent six years as the president and COO at Viasoft, Inc., where he assisted in its successful sale. Hickey started his high-tech career at IBM, where he spent 12 years in a range of sales and executive roles.
